Yes we’re still here. Just a little overwhelmed lately but ready to get back to blogging.
Here it is the top ten of summer!!!!!
Jon’s Gym. Jon’s gym held team tryouts and Jon was great and moved up to the level 4 team. Which means 5 hours a week at the gym and more importantly that he will compete in meets starting this December! WAY TO GO JON!!!!
Emma’s horseback riding lessons. As posted earlier one of Emma’s birthday presents was horseback riding lessons. Every Saturday we drove out to the riding center where Emma spent an hour enjoying time with her assigned horse Summer. The Boys and I drove to Jason and Heidi’s, who live just a couple blocks away, to let them play while Heidi and I visited. Making it a fun Saturday tradition for everyone. Emma’s taking a break during the school year but can’t wait to start again next year.
10 Years! Ben and I celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary in June!
Ben’s new truck. Ben got a new truck from his sister Jenny.
Bear Lake. Over the 24th of July we took a family trip to Bear Lake. Our little crew went up on Monday and were joined by the whole Conover family for the holiday weekend. The water was warmer than I remember so the kids loved staying in it all day!
Back to school. Another school year started. Emma is now in 4th grade! I really can’t believe it especially because I remember so much of fourth grade! Jon is starting 2nd grade and is lucky enough to have Mrs. Edwards (also known at Jen my bff) I’m so excited that he can be in her class. She is an amazing teacher and person!! Thanks Jen!
Share a Smile. I ran the share a smile Tri again this year. It is such a fun triathlon if any of you out there ever decide to take up the sport I highly recommend the share a smile as a place to start!
Lilly. After months of begging, weeks of keeping her room clean, selling eggs and doing chores to earn money, putting together petitions, begging, begging and did I mention begging? Emma got her new puppy Lilly. She is a sweet little mini daschund and of course Emma adores her
Sam’s new bed. Sam moved out of the crib into the little log toddler bed. It has been hard on everyone but Sam who loves his new found freedom!
Bear Lake Brawl. To end the summer with a bang we went back to bear lake so I could race in the bear lake brawl. We took the kids out of school and went up a few days early to play and veg then I raced on Saturday. It was my first open water race so I was a little nervous but loved it so much I don’t want to go back to the pool. I took 9th in my division. It was a great end to a great summer!
