It’s Mothers Day and I must have cursed myself with previous posts because Jon is laying on the couch with the barf bucket!!! (not that any of you wanted to know that) Anyway, I thought I’d take a moment to post some of our fun pictures of spring! Ben, Brig, Sam and I have spent every moment of the past couple weeks outside working in the yard, building the chicken coop, and planting the garden. It has been so much fun to watch Brigham working with his Dad I feel a little bad Jon has to be at school.
Here it is the finished product!(minus a few decorative touches) Our Biddy Barn has double doors on both sides for east clean out, three nesting boxes accessible from the back for easy egg retrieval and three pine logs for roosting hopefully the girls will like it!
As I said my little boys have been such a big help! Brigham is an excellent weed puller and dirt shoveler and Sam… well Sam is pretty good at herding the chickens around the yard and swinging on the swing set!
